Fixit provides a platform that connects customers with home service professionals and local vendors. We facilitate the booking of services and purchase of products but are not directly responsible for the services rendered by independent professionals.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Service Providers & Vendors

Service providers and vendors on our platform are independent contractors, not employees of Fixit. While we verify their credentials and conduct background checks, we do not guarantee the quality of their work or products.

5. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. Refund policies may vary based on the service or product. Generally:

  • Service cancellations made 2+ hours before scheduled time may be eligible for a full refund
  • Product returns are subject to vendor policies
  • Disputes should be raised within 24 hours of service completion

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any illegal purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or service providers
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Attempt to bypass security measures
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts the platform

7. Limitation of Liability

Fixit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service or product in question.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
